An empty house

The kids are back in school but I have no intention of writing today....after 6 weeks of school holidays and 4 1/2 months of builders traipising in and out the house it is quiet today so I am soaking it up and enjoying my solitude....will be back to work with a passion on Monday...over the weekend I am going to catch up on my email and try and get a page or two in but real work starts Monday....and I have to honestly say I am really looking forward to it!!!

Writing....

or not writing as the case might be...I know I'm supposed to be but....I'm not.....that is going to change....hope to get at least 2-3 pages done today.....

Creating...

not doing a lot of writing at the moment (kids are on holidays and builders still around so not as easy to find time to sit on the computer) but I have been creating character profiles and filling out my plot points a little better so hopefully by the 31st when the kids are back at school the writing will be a lot smoother...well I hope so anyway!!!!!!

start to the year!!! I am really pleased with what I have done.....not a lot of writing but I have been organising myself getting research into the files they need to be in, updating editor/publishing info, sorting out storylines etc and really feel like I am accomplishing something :) :)

Attitude......
I am taking writing seriously.....got to get away from treating this as a hobby and start thinking the positive way as a career.....the next few days I am working on organising myself....sorting out research notes, doing some basic plotting, updating editor/publishing info and doing some editing on I&C's story...the one I was supposed to get finished for the Golden Hearts but got caught up with the house renovations etc....I am going to start reporting in here as part of my professionalism because I am hoping that one day when I have people reading my writing they might want to read more about me too!!!!
