Up and down

Some days are worse then others....some days I feel very creative and want to do nothing but write....other days I write a paragraph and then wipe it and start again only to wipe it....oh the joys of being a writer!!!!
The Worrals are going quite well...have about 3 more weeks of writing them before I take a little break so hoping that I have done heaps of work in that time.

Worrals

That is the name of the family I am writing about at the moment...a fantasy for children....which is my main focus writing (I have other projects on the go which I look at over a period of three weeks every two months- my break from my focus writing) It seems to be working well so far and hopefully when I have finished one thing I will be on my way with another....
Any way the Worral story is progressing well...onto Chapter Nine and it seems pretty hopeful so far( my biggest critic my daughter M who loves to read tells me to hurry up and finish the next chapter so she can find out what is going on....she's also told me when she doesn't think things sound right so hopefully she's judging the book fairly and not because I'm her mother :) )
So I really should get on to working instead of spending my time blogging today

Back to writing

I finally had an epiphany when it came to writing that I was trying to write for a market instead of myself. Yes I know the object of writing is to become published but I'll never be published if I try and fit myself into something that I am not...it may take me a hell of a lot longer to get were I want to go because I don't fit myself into any particular framework but I figure in the long run when I am published I'll have more to offer as I write from the heart and not from the need to just be published
